Something big is rising in Nairobi — and it’s wearing yellow, navy, and a whole lot of heart.
Welcome to Whelldon Volleyball Club: a brand-new women’s volleyball program built on one belief — that when women rise together, they don’t just play the game, they change it.
Founded in 2025, Whelldon VC exists to develop players, build women, and inspire generations, both on and off the court. This isn’t just about spiking, serving, and scoring points. It’s about building a home for ambition — a place where talent meets discipline, where sweat turns into skill, and where every athlete is pushed to become more than she thought possible.
Why Whelldon VC Exists
Nairobi is full of talent. What’s often missing is the structure, coaching, and platform to turn that talent into something extraordinary. That’s the gap Whelldon VC was built to close.
We’re bringing serious training, real competitive opportunity, and a culture built on trust, accountability, and belief — the kind of environment where players don’t just improve their game, they grow into leaders.
Every drill has a purpose. Every practice builds toward something bigger. And every player who steps onto our court becomes part of a team that pushes each other higher, together.
Meet the Leadership Behind the Program
Every winning team starts with the people who shape it — and Whelldon VC’s coaching staff brings the vision, discipline, and heart driving this program forward from day one:
- Orero Evans — Head Coach
- Alborn Ouma — Assistant Coach
- Philip Toll — Team Manager
- Ndeda Evans — Statistics & Technical Coordinator
Together, they set the tone for what it means to train hard, compete with purpose, and build a winning mentality — the kind that shows up in how players carry themselves, on the court and off it.
What’s Next
The energy is just getting started. We’re actively building our roster, laying down our training foundation, and preparing to compete. In the coming weeks, expect to meet our players, follow our training journey, get behind-the-scenes looks at what it takes to build a club from the ground up, and see the first results of all this work on the court.
This is the beginning of something built to last — and we want you along for every step of it.
